has been painting since 1956. She has studied under local and national artists in classes and workshops. She has also taught art workshops. As an artist of representational art in both oil and watercolor, Jo strives for light and value in her paintings. And with the use of color, seeks to portray a peaceful and serene scene for the viewer. She also paints portraits on commission and has recently begun to create portraits and paintings from ancestral photographs.
Jo's paintings are currently being exhibited at the Focal Point Studio in Jenks, Oklahoma, and may also be found in commercial offices as well as private collections.
