Don Reynolds Jr. Don tells us two good things happened in 1995 - he received his first social security check and spent part of it on his first art class. He soon discovered a passion for creating charcoal and pastel portraits.
"When I’m working on a portrait there’s something about my relationship with the subject that often captures my soul. The process can be frustrating but it’s also great fun so I keep at it and keep learning. Sometimes – when God’s in His heaven and the stars are just right – the completed piece reflects this unique relationship. I hope you enjoy visiting my work as much as I did creating it."
Don lives in Tulsa with his wife and supporter, Rose.
